Come on in, and Sit Down

Luke 10:19
Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.

1John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sineth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and the wicked on toucheth him not.

Romans 5:17
For if because of one's man's trespass (lapse, offence) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God's] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in this life through one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed one).

Ephesians 2:6
And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

So come and sit down in the place that God has prepared for you. He came as a man and died to give it to you. Come and take your seat right there next to God. For it has all been accomplished for you. Yes, God has made you a king in His kingdom. He has given you all the authority in heaven. He has given you Jesus, so that you can make His enemies a footstool. He will not make you use your authority over things in this world that come against you. But, He has given you the authority to reign over your problems. Come on in, have a seat. And take your proper place in Jesus Christ.

Glory to God!

His Name

1 John 3:22-23
And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we (watchfully) obey His orders (observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us) and (habitually) practice what is pleasing to Him. And this is His order (His command, His injunction): that we should believe in (put our and trust in and adhere to and rely on) the name of His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and that we should love one another, just as He has commanded us.

  • I believe in the name of Jesus to save and deliver me from every situation.
  • I put my faith in the name of Jesus.
  • I trust in the name of Jesus.
  • I adhere to the name of Jesus.
  • I completely rely on the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus.

I believe that mountains move and demons flee when I speak the name of Jesus. I have faith that He has done everything for me, I rest in the finished work of Jesus. There is no sin that Jesus didn't pay for. Just one drop of His blood was more than enough to pay for all sin for all time. Yes, I believe the Word and I trust in the name of Jesus. This life is not mine to fight but I will stand for and keep everything that Jesus paid for. I am always victorious because I have the name of Jesus. God has given it to me, when I made Him Lord of my life.

I trust that the name of Jesus has all power and authority, and God Almighty has placed it above all things. God will use His hands to back up the name of Jesus. I will always stick to the name given to me, it is who I really am. In my spirit I am one with Him. This is how God sees me, this is the real me, for I have been united with Jesus in death to live for Him in this life. I completely rely on the name of Jesus. I will never be let down, He is the Lord who lifts me up.

Thank You JESUS.

Why Do I Need To Know God?

Proverbs 3:6
In all my ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

In all my ways know Him.
In all my ways recognize Him.
In all my ways acknowledge Him.

What does that really mean?

Here is the definition of know:
  • to perceive directly
  • have direct cognition of
  • to have understanding of
  • importance of knowing for oneself
  • to recognize the nature of
  • discern
  • to recognize as being the same as something previously known
  • to be acquainted or familiar with
  • to have experience of
  • to be aware of the truth
  • to be convinced or certain of
  • to have practical understanding
  • to have sexual intercourse with

So to know God is to have a personal relationship with Him. To know God is to know His personality that you have experience for yourself. It goes far beyond head knowledge and into the realm of experiential knowledge. This type of knowledge causes you to stand in the face of anything. His promises are true for you because you know God. When you have entered into this place of knowing God, you are joined with Him. This is how you can know God in all of your ways. You will think like Him. When the world says you are going under but God says you are above only and not beneath, you will have no trouble believing it because you know God. To know God is to think about yourself how God thinks about you. When He says that you have been made holy and to boldly come before the throne of grace, it is easy to believe because you know God. And because you know God, His presence will cause you to rest. You have expierenced before.

Psalms 21:6

For You make him to be blesses and a blessing forever, You make him exceedingly glad with the joy of Your presence.

To know God is to enter into His presence. To enter into His presence is to be in His rest. In this place there is peace and joy. And it is not a location but a state of mind, a state of focus. Knowing God is being in constant relationship with God, always in every situation fully trusting Him. Because you know Him. You know He is faithful to deliver you. His is fully capable to deliver you, and He wants to deliver you. He loves you. And you know that you are His beloved child. There is nothing greater then knowing God.

So how do you start to know God for yourself? Start with seeking Him with all of your heart. The bible says that this is when you will find Him. If you try to put Him in a box, and only read your bible because it is your duty, you are not entering into the relationship with Him. But if you say, Father I want to know you. Lord, teach me. God, guide me in your Word. Study his Word. Ponder on His ways. Ask Him and He will guide you. Put aside all of your religious ideas of who God is. Let Him be your guide as you study and pray. Get to know God, there is nothing more fulfilling that you will ever pursue.

Knowledge of Power

Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. ~Ephesians 3:20 KJV

I am sure most Christians are acquainted with this passage of scripture. But how closely have we really paid attention to what is being said? It says that God can do more than we can even imagine to ask of Him, after all He is God right. But, if you look you will see, it also says that we are a key factor to His power. God has placed a condition on His power operating in our lives. It says according to the power that works in us. So how much power do we as believers have working in us? Let's look at another scripture to find out.

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believes, according to the working of His mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. ~ Ephesians 1: 17-21 KJV

This is a prayer that Paul was praying for the believers in Ephesus. He was not praying for God to move and do more mighty works, he was not pleading with God to bring deliverance to this church. God had already done that when He came here as a man and took all sin, all sickness, and poverty onto Himself for the sake of humankind. Paul was praying that these believers would understand and know what was already given to them at salvation. He wanted them to grab hold of the resurrection power that God Himself place into everyone that will ever call upon the name of Jesus as Lord and Savior. If you are a born again believer, if you have confessed with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, you have been placed in the same position of authority that Jesus has.

Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for) it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgement and made partakers of Christ's salvation). And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the messiah, the Anointed One). ~ Ephesians 2:6-7 Amp. KJV

As anyone can see right now we are not currently seated in the physical sense with Jesus, but what Paul is saying we that are in Christ are seated with Him in authority because the same power that God used to raised Jesus from the dead is in us now!

So let's go back to the first point I was making, God's mighty power can do even more that we can even dare to ask Him, but if you are lacking knowledge or understanding that God has already given you this power there will be no mighty working in your life. Only when you have confident understanding of this power already in you, will you ever see the manifestation of the healing in your body and mind. Understanding and knowing that this power is in you as a believer, is a key to walking in divine healing and health.

[And I pray] that the participation in and sharing of your faith may produce and promote full recognition and appreciation and understanding and precise knowledge of every good [thing] that is ours in [our identification with] Christ Jesus [and unto His glory]. Philemon 6 Amp. KLV

As you can see Paul is again praying that the believers understand what they have in Christ Jesus. When you acknowledge who Christ has made you to be, and what mighty power He has placed in every born again believer, then the power of God can and will do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Thank you Jesus!!

Confessions

Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. Therefore, I forbid any sickness or disease to come upon this body. Every disease germ and every virus that even touches this body dies instantly, in the name of Jesus. Every organ and every tissue of this body functions in the perfection to which God created it to function, and I forbid any malfunction in this body, in the name of Jesus.

This confession I make every day. It was written by Charles Capps. This confession is based on Galatians 3:13, Romans 8:11, Genesis 1:31, and Matthew 16:19.

It is important to speak God's word always. Speak it when you "feel" well and even when you don't "feel" well. God's word is always true, not matter what the circumstance. And the only way to change your situation for the better is to stop complaining, and start confessing God's word. God calls the weak people strong, He calls us victors in the midst of defeat, He called Abram the father of many nations years before he even had a son. God does this for the express purpose to get us, His children, to say what He says about our situation. Because when we do that, our life will come into alignment with the words we speak. This is how God does things, it is His way of operating, if we want His results then we must do it His way.

Proverbs 17:22

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. ~ Proverbs 17:22

A broken heart dries up the bones. Your immune system is located in your bones. Any immune system disorder or disease including auto-immune diseases, like arthritis, MS, chronic fatigue, and many others, are stemming from a broken heart. God can and would love to heal your broken heart. It doesn't matter how long ago it occurred, even if it was in your childhood. God is Love. He wants to fill you with His love. His love heals your bones, it heals your broken heart. Mending your broken heart, with God's supernatural love, will bring healing to all immune diseases.

Thank You

I love you Lord. I have the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, God. The eyes of my heart have been enlightened. I am created in the image of You. I walk in the light as You are in the light. I am the branch, You are the vine. I am one with You, dear Lord. You have already provided everything I will ever need. You have provided all the healing my body will ever need. Before I even existed You had provision for me. And I abide in You, Father, every circumstance and every situation in my life transforms to the likeness of You, Who is in the light. Thank you, Lord that you loved me and knew me, even chose me before the foundation of the world. Your love is the grace that is a gift to me. Your faith is given to me, as I walk with You. I will forever be in awe of Your trust in me. I will forever serve You. I will forever seek You. I will forever be transformed by your Word. I have entered into Your rest, because You are on my side. Thank you, Father, thank you. In Jesus name, Amen.
